Annual dance showcase by KRE-8 Dance Studios, with students of all levels bringing dance and music to life on stage.
Third Kre-8tion runs at Nottingham Arts Theatre on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, the third annual showcase from KRE-8 Dance Studios. It's a community project that brings dance and music together on one stage, and the bill pulls from a wide range of dance styles and musical genres rather than sticking to one.
What makes it a community show is who's on stage. The studio's students take the audience through the different styles, with beginners taking their first steps in front of a crowd alongside advanced performers. It's a year's worth of work on display, and the studio describes it as a joyful afternoon or evening out for families and dance lovers alike. There's a fifteen-minute interval in each performance.
