Comedy two-hander by Kyle Eaton and Daryll Sidney, directed by Adam Colborne, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival 2026.
Flippers comes to Nottingham Arts Theatre (The Studio) on Friday 6 November, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. It's a two-hander by comedy duo Kyle Eaton and Daryll Sidney, who are performing together live for the first time in over a decade. The play is staged under Eaton's 'Daft Lad' banner, which has reached millions online and earned praise from Neil Tennant and Paul Gambaccini, with collaborations including Matt Lucas.
Directed by Adam Colborne, who worked on Ted Lasso, the story follows lodgers Karl and Gary. They've landed a once-in-a-lifetime deal from their elderly landlady: renovate her crumbling London home, flip it for profit, and split the cash. The problem is that Gary is a micro-managing control freak, and Karl has already spent their non-existent budget on scatter cushions and exotic pets. As the house falls apart, so does their friendship. It's billed as bursting with heart, and it looks at loneliness, chosen family, and chaos.
