Free drop-in creative workshop for children aged 4 to 12 and their families, led by creative facilitators at New Art Exchange.
New Art Exchange is running another Saturday Art Club on Saturday 24 October, starting at 10:30. It's a free, drop-in creative workshop for children aged 4 to 12 and their families, so you don't need to book ahead—you just turn up with the kids and get stuck in.
Each session is led by creative facilitators and built around hands-on fun, imagination and playful discovery. The activities change every time, so if you've been before, it'll be something different this round. It's designed for kids to just make things and explore without any pressure, and because it's a drop-in, it works whether you've got a whole morning to spend or just a quick hour to fill.
This particular edition is held as part of the city's Black History Season, which gives the session a bit more context than the usual weekend craft. It's a good way to get the younger ones involved in the season's programming through something they can actually do rather than just look at.
