Free one-hour tour of the community makerspace Nottingham Hackspace, a requirement for anyone wanting to join.
Nottingham Hackspace is running a tour of its workshop on Wednesday 21 October, starting at 19:00. The tour lasts roughly an hour and is a requirement for anyone wanting to join the Hackspace, so if you've been thinking about becoming a member, this is the one to come along to.
For those who haven't come across it, Nottingham Hackspace is a community workshop run by Nottinghack, a Nottingham-based non-profit group of hackers, makers and crafty creatives owned and run by its members. It's a place to socialise, make, learn and teach, with hardware hacking framed as a creative, educational hobby rather than illegal network hacking, identity theft or virus propagation. Members share tools, techniques and time, and run classes and workshops in electronics, crafts, robotics, DIY, laser cutting, CNC, 3D printing, photography, computing and more. The tour is your first look at what's inside and how it all works.
