Halloween craft workshop for children aged 5 to 14 to make a monster mask and a spooky postcard using woodblock stamping.
Monster Making: Spooky Stamping and Monster Masks is at the Nottingham Society of Artists on Saturday 31 October, a Halloween craft session for children aged 5 to 14. It's led by Ines Sofia Fernandes as part of Imara's Charity Art Auction, which raises funds for services for Nottingham children and young people affected by sexual and domestic abuse. The auction is run by the charity IMARA CIO.
Over the course of the morning, kids get to make two things: their own monster mask and a spooky Halloween postcard. The postcards are done using woodblock stamping, so they'll be printing their own designs rather than just drawing them. All the materials are provided on the day, so you don't need to bring anything along. If you're bringing someone under 13, they'll need to be accompanied by an adult.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The session runs from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, two hours in total, at the Nottingham Society of Artists, 71 Friar Lane, NG1 6DH. It's pay-what-you-can, with a recommended donation of £7.
