Interactive mystery session for children inspired by Agatha Christie, part of the 'Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery' programme at Nottingham City Libraries.
Leo and the Library Detectives comes to Hyson Green Library on Monday 5 April, as part of the Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery programme running across Nottingham City Libraries. It's an interactive mystery, so you're not just sitting and watching — you'll be getting stuck in to help solve it.
The whole thing is built around Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime, and it's inspired by the British Library's major exhibition on her life, work and legacy. That exhibition opens in London on 30 October 2026 before touring the country, and the Nottingham leg lands at Hyson Green Library from 8 March to 22 April 2027. Leo and the Library Detectives is one of the sessions that runs alongside it.

It's part of a wider programme that brings a touring exhibition and a range of events to the city's libraries, so there's more to it than just this one session. The full line-up includes author talks, writing workshops, immersive drama, reading groups and a Crime Reading Challenge. The project is delivered by Nottingham City Libraries in partnership with Inspire Libraries, and it's supported by grant funding from Arts Council England. The Leo and the Library Detectives session itself runs on 5 April at Hyson Green Library, which is part of the Mary Potter Centre in Nottingham.
