Stand-up show 'Brainstorm' by Australian comedian Thomas Green, returning with a new hour after his sell-out debut tour.
Thomas Green brings his new show Brainstorm to Nottingham Arts Theatre on Thursday 12 November, starting at 20:00. It's a full hour of new material, and it comes after a sell-out debut tour.
The show follows a period of self-discovery in which Green realises his life is a whirlwind of impulsive, random and stupid tangents. It's a brand-new hour, so you'll be hearing it fresh rather than a polished version of something he's been touring for a while.
Green is an Australian comedian and former primary school teacher who's built his following on the UK circuit since moving here in 2015. He's billed as one of Australia's best exports, and he's been working steadily for a decade: he's staged That'll Teach You (2016), Doubting Thomas (2018), Tweak (2019), and Calm Before the Brainstorm (2025). He's also sold out the Edinburgh, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne Comedy Festivals and released his debut special End of Daze in September 2024. Beyond the stage, he's been on ITV, heard on BBC radio, and is a regular guest on the Have A Word podcast.

Critics have had plenty to say about him over the years. Mo Gilligan called him one of his favourites to watch live, Russell Kane described him as a seriously funny fer, and Fest Mag* called him one of a kind in 2024. Tickets are £20, and the show runs on Thursday 12 November at 20:00 at Nottingham Arts Theatre**.
