Halloween night of emo, goth and pop-punk music with themed craft beers and a DJ set by Chipshop Circus at The Barley Twist.
The Barley Twist is putting on Bloodrave on Saturday 31 October, a Halloween night club night that runs from 7pm to 11pm. The music is handled by Chipshop Circus, who'll be playing a DJ set throughout the evening.
Bloodrave is the Barley Twist's own Halloween night, and it leans into the campier side of the holiday. The music roams across emo, goth and pop-punk, so you'll hear as much My Chemical Romance and The Cure as you will early Green Day or The Offspring. It's a broad stretch of alternative sounds from the last couple of decades, rather than sticking to one corner of the scene. The bar will be pouring themed craft beers to match the occasion, and costumes are encouraged, so it's the kind of night where turning up in full dress is part of the point.
