Comedy puppet workshop with sock puppets led by Liz Johnson, part of Women In Comedy Day at the Barley Twist.
Liz Johnson is running a puppetry workshop at Barley Twist on Saturday 7 November, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. It's a comedy puppet session where she teaches you how to lip-sync with a sock puppet and then puts it into practice with a short puppet performance set to a classic Queen hit. The whole thing is about an hour of being silly with sock puppets.
Johnson is a comedy act who performs stand-up with puppets, and she's also taking part in the festival with her solo show, The Alien Gameshow and Slightly Psychic Cynthia. This workshop is for ages 18 and over, and it forms part of 'Women In Comedy Day' at the Barley Twist, a day of workshops, industry panels and live performances by women in comedy.
