A playful, clowning-infused workshop for adults aged 18 and over, part of Women In Comedy Day.
Pan ani is running a clowning workshop at Barley Twist on Saturday 7 November, from 12:30 to 1:30pm. It's a one-hour session, and doors open at 12:00, so there's plenty of time to get settled before things kick off.
It's a playful, clowning-infused hour, and the description puts it in simple terms: the workshop invites you to be unapologetically yourself, to stay present and curious, and to come alive. It's not about performing for an audience so much as playing with the things that make us human, and it's open to anyone 18 and over.
The session is part of Women In Comedy Day, a full day of workshops, industry panels and live performances by women in comedy staged by The Tits Comedy and Funny as Buck to support funny women across the Midlands. This particular workshop is just one piece of that larger day, so if you're interested in the wider scene, there's plenty more to look at around it.
