Screening of the Banff Mountain Film Festival's Red Film Programme, a collection of short films about extreme mountain adventures.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival comes to Nottingham Playhouse on Saturday 20 February 2027, bringing the 2027 Red Film Programme to the city. It's a collection of short films focused on extreme mountain adventures, and the whole session runs for 175 minutes, so you'll be in your seat for nearly three hours.
The festival describes itself as the world's most prestigious mountain festival, and this screening brings a brand-new set of films to the Playhouse. The programme is built around extreme journeys, untamed characters and captivating cinematography, and it's designed to take you along with the world's top adventure filmmakers and thrill-seekers as they climb, ski, paddle and ride into the wildest corners of the planet. Because it's a collection of shorts rather than one long feature, you get a few different stories in a single sitting.

It's a session for ages 12 and over, so it's something you can bring the teenagers to if they're into the outdoors. Tickets are £20.00, plus a £2.50 non-refundable booking fee per order. The screening starts at 7:30pm, and the venue reports it's already sold out.
