The Macarnos, a four-piece band of upbeat covers and originals, play The Halls at St Andrew's Plain at the Norwich Beer Festival.
The Macarnos are back at The Halls on Saturday 31 October, playing as part of the Norwich Beer Festival. They're a regular fixture at taprooms, beer festivals and events across the city, and this is their return for 2026.
The set is a mix of upbeat covers and originals. The band describes it as foot-stomping, and that's a fair way to put it: the four of them swap instruments and harmonise their way through songs you know and some you don't. It's the kind of thing that works well in a room full of people, and the beer festival setting fits that exactly.
There are a couple of changes this time around. They're returning with a revised line-up — Steve, Chris, Jess and Jamie — and a refreshed set list, so it's not just a repeat of what they've done before. If you've seen them at a taproom or a festival in the past, there'll be some new ground to cover here.

They play from 16:30 to 18:30, so it's a late-afternoon slot rather than a late-night one. The venue is The Halls on St Andrew's Plain, NR3 1AU, in the heart of the Norwich Beer Festival.
