Stand-up comedian and keyboardist Robert White brings his live show, a mix of songs, stories and stand-up, to the Norwich Arts Centre.
Robert White is playing the Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday 2 December, as part of his 2026 live comedy tour. He's a stand-up and a keyboardist who first made his name on Britain's Got Talent and has since built up millions of viewers online. He bills himself as 'THAT' Gay Autistic Keyboard Tanktop Comedy Guy', and the show lives up to the description: it's a mix of songs, stories, stand-up, gags, props, improvisation and audience interaction. The keyboard is a big part of it, and the songs are a good chunk of the set.
He's toured under a few different titles over the years, including The Tank Top Tour, Robert White and His Outrageously Peculiar Organ and The Curious Incident of the Gag and the Gun-Crime.... This one is his new live show, so you'll be hearing fresh material. The critics have been fairly consistent about what to expect: Time Out called him a 'very funny, fantastic oddball', and The Telegraph described his souped-up risqué keyboard songs, waspish asides and neurotically charged camperie as some of the most original comedy around. Simon Cowell called him 'very unique, very quirky, very funny, very naughty'.
It's a one-man show, so it's just Robert on stage with his keyboard and whatever props he brings along. The improvisation and audience interaction mean no two nights are exactly the same, and the songs are worked in alongside the stand-up rather than as a separate act. The Norwich date is part of his 2026 tour, and it's already sold out.
