Rob Auton: Jupiter

Rob Auton brings his new show Jupiter to Norwich Theatre Playhouse on Thursday 11 February 2027, at 7:30 pm. It's his first time back on the UK stage since his sell-out nationwide tour in 2025-26, and it's his thirteenth hour of stand-up. The premise is a strange one: it's about a time when he worked as an estate agent on the planet Jupiter. If you've seen his previous work, you'll know he likes to build a whole world around a single, absurd starting point and then just keep going with it.

Auton is a multi-award-winning writer, performer, podcaster and actor, and he's spent as much time on screen as he has on stage. He's appeared opposite Danny Dyer in Marching Powder, in Channel 4's The Change and in the BBC's Starstruck, with further credits including Miracle Workers on TBS, The End of the Fing World on Netflix and Channel 4, The Russell Howard Hour on Sky, Cold Feet on ITV and Random Acts on Channel 4. He's also a two-time British Podcast Awards Gold winner for The Rob Auton Daily Podcast and once did a viral stand-up set on Stand-Up Central* with Rob Delaney for Comedy Central.

Jupiter runs for one hour and 40 minutes with an interval, so it's a proper night out rather than a quick set. It's recommended for ages 14 and over. Tickets start from £22.26, and the show starts at 7:30 pm at the Playhouse.
