Stand-up show 'Chop Logic' by Rhys James, star of Mock the Week and Rhysearch, at the Norwich Theatre Playhouse.
Rhys James brings his new show, Chop Logic, to Norwich Theatre Playhouse for three nights: Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 February 2027. All three start at 8:00 pm, so you've got a few dates to pick from if you're sorting a night out with friends.
If you've come across his name before, it's probably from Mock the Week — he's a series regular on the TLC reboot — or Rhysearch, the BBC Radio 4 show he created himself. He's also popped up on QI and Live at the Apollo, and he's the one behind the viral U&Dave lecture 'I Stalk Strangers Online'. Chop Logic debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is now touring 40 UK dates, with Norwich being one of them.
As for the comedy itself, James is billed as one of the nation's sharpest stand-ups: a fast and forensic comedian whose show centres on big ideas and gag-dense overthinking — the kind of detailed thinking that can turn even the smallest everyday problem into something much bigger. The Guardian called him the 'master of the lightning-paced, precision-delivered set', and Richard Osman has described him as 'one of the funniest men in the world'.
