Pet Needs ('Elbows Out! The Tour')

Pet Needs play Voodoo Daddy's Showroom on Friday 30 October, with doors opening at 19:00. They're touring their fourth studio album, Elbows Out! This Is Capitalism, which came out on 27 March via Xtra Mile Recordings. It's a satirical concept album about a band buying a second-hand punk rock career at auction, written throughout 2025 and recorded by George Perks, who has worked with Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Mogwai and Skindred.

The record follows Intermittent Fast Living, which charted in February 2024, and marks a decade in the life of the Colchester four-piece. Their debut, Fractured Party Music, arrived in 2021, so they've put out four albums in five years. They've spent a good deal of that time on the road, supporting Frank Turner, The Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, The Hives and Laura Jane Grace, and playing festivals like 2000Trees, Dot To Dot and The Salty Dog Cruise.

This is a rescheduled date from The Waterfront Studio, so if you had tickets for the original show, they're still valid. General admission standing is £19.25 including fees, and the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
