Free face-to-face recruitment fair with around 40 employers and 700 local job seekers meeting recruiters and hiring managers.
The Norwich Jobs Fair is coming to The Forum on Wednesday 11 November, from 10am to 1pm. It's run by Job Fairs by The Bridge and is built around face-to-face recruitment: you meet recruiters, hiring managers and company representatives in one room, ask HR managers your questions in person and apply for roles on the spot. More than 40 employers will be there, and the day is designed for them to fill positions quickly, find candidates with specific skills and build their local brand, with 'mini' interviews happening on the day.
It's a different way of doing the job hunt. Instead of sending off a CV into a black hole and waiting for a reply, you're talking to the people who actually make the hiring decisions. You can get a feel for the company and the role in a few minutes, and if it works, you can put your application in right then and there. If you've got a few different paths you're considering, it's a good chance to compare them in one morning.
The venue is The Forum, in the Atrium at Millennium Plain, NR2 1BH. It's one of the city's most recognisable landmarks, a Millennium Project that opened in November 2001 at a cost of £66 million and has since become a central part of the historic centre. Tickets are allocated to around 700 local candidates drawn from within a 15-mile radius of the venue, and you'll need the permanent right to work in the UK, as there are no sponsorship opportunities available.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Norwich and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
