Stand-up show in which Harry Enfield brings back some of his favourite characters from more than 40 years of comedy.
Harry Enfield is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal on Friday 5 March 2027, with Harry Enfield and No Chums marking a look back at more than 40 years of his comedy. He's a satirical comedian who describes himself as a 'stupid idiot', and the show draws on that long career rather than sticking to new material.
The first half brings back a good number of his best-known characters. You'll see the Thatcherite visionary Loadsamoney and the fury of Kevin the Teenager, both of whom were staples of his TV work, and a fair few others alongside them. It's a set built on the characters he's most famous for, so it's a good place to see them live if you've mostly known them from the screen.
After that, he opens the floor to the audience. You can ask him how it all works, what he's most proud of, and what he says to those who ask, 'You wouldn't be allowed to do your stuff today, would you?'. It's a Q&A that lets him talk through the work and the era it came from, and it's a chance to hear him answer that particular question in person.
