Screening of LGBTQIA+ short films from the Official Selection of the Norwich Film Festival, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
Cinema City is hosting an LGBTQ+ shorts programme on Tuesday 10 November as part of the Norwich Film Festival, with a Q&A to follow. The session runs for 135 minutes, starting at 18:00, and brings together a collection of LGBTQIA+ short films from the festival's Official Selection. They look at identity, relationships and life across the community, with stories that run from a closeted Irish Y2K pop princess to the poet Sappho of Lesbos.
The line-up consists of All Change, CHARITY!, Choked, Every Time I See A Yellow Car, Loreto, Molly and Sappho. After the films, a Q&A with selected filmmakers gives you a chance to hear from the people behind them.

This is part of a brand-new short film programme for the festival, which shortlisted 136 films and curated them into 21 themed screenings running from 6 to 15 November. The LGBTQ+ session is one of those themed slots, so it's a good way to see a focused selection rather than wading through the whole festival line-up. Cinema City is Norwich's three-screen cinema, based in the 17th-century Suckling House with its vaulted ceilings, stone arches and antique panelled rooms, and it's also home to the Dining Rooms bar and kitchen if you fancy a drink before or after. Seating is unallocated, and there are limited wheelchair spaces available. Tickets are £8, or £6 for concessions, and the whole thing kicks off at 18:00 on 10 November.
