It's Christmas with Joe Ringer

Joe Ringer returns to the Norwich Theatre Playhouse on Wednesday 23 December with It's Christmas with Joe Ringer, his all-new Christmas Spectacular. It's now in its 17th year at the Playhouse, so it's become a bit of a fixture in the city's run-up to the big day.

He's not doing this solo: he'll be backed by his 10-piece band, with vocal and dance talent on stage as well. The show runs about two hours plus an interval, and the setlist pulls from a wide range of festive favourites. You'll hear Bing Crosby and Michael Bublé alongside Silent Night, Fairytale of New York, Mariah Carey and Slade, with the whole thing built on harmonies, sing-a-longs and plenty of snow. It's the kind of show that works as a family outing or a proper night out with friends, and it's billed as bigger and better than ever.

There are two performances on the day, a matinee at 2:30 pm and an evening show at 7:30 pm, so you can pick whichever fits your schedule. Tickets start from £28.01, and if you're a member of the theatre, there are concessions: 5% off for Friends and 10% off for Ambassadors, Supporters, Best Friends and Gold Friends. The Playhouse is at 42-58 St George's Street, NR3 1AB.
