A drama and theatre-making workshop for home-educated young people aged 12 to 16 inspired by Norwich Theatre's Peter Pan pantomime.
Norwich Theatre is running a Peter Pan drama workshop for home-educated young people on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 December, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. It's held in Studio Three at Stage Two, part of the theatre's Home Education Pilot Programme, which launched this April after consultation with home-educating parents to make sure it actually fits the needs and interests of the community.
The session takes its lead from The All New Adventures of Peter Pan, the theatre's 2026 pantomime. Over the two hours, you'll work through drama games, storytelling, movement and creative theatre activities, building your own ideas and characters around the world of Neverland. The whole thing is run by the theatre's Creative Learning team and professional practitioners, and it's open to all young people—no prior drama experience needed. It's a supportive, inclusive environment that prizes participation, creativity and enjoyment over performance, so it's more about getting stuck in than putting on a polished show.

It's part of a wider programme of masterclasses, immersive drama workshop days and tours led by professional artists and educators, all designed for home-educated learners. If you have additional needs, support is available, and if money is tight, the Creative Learning team encourages you to get in touch. The workshop runs from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 December at Stage Two, Studio Three, Norwich Theatre, 42-58 St Georges Street, NR3 1AB.
