RSPB workshop on how to give nature a home in your outdoor space, held at The Forum in Norwich.
RSPB are running a workshop at The Atrium on Saturday 7 November, focused on how to give nature a home in your own outdoor space. It's one of those practical sessions where the goal is to leave with something you can actually use, rather than just a list of things you've heard about.
The session is built around the idea of turning your garden, balcony, or whatever bit of outdoor space you've got into a spot that wildlife can actually use. It's not about having a huge plot of land or a perfectly manicured lawn; it's more about the small, specific changes that make a difference for the birds and insects that pass through. The RSPB run the whole thing, so it's their approach to wildlife gardening on display.
If you've spent any time looking at your garden and wondering what would actually help the local wildlife, this is where you get those answers. It's a workshop, so you'll be doing rather than just listening, and you'll come away with a better sense of what works for your particular patch of ground. It's a good one if you're just starting out with gardening or if you've been at it for years and want to shift your focus towards the wilder side of things.
