Stand-up show by comedian and internet personality Finlay Christie, who became one of the youngest winners of the So You Think You're Funny competition.
Finlay Christie brings his new show, Champagne Casanova, to the Norwich Playhouse on Monday 9 November. It's a stand-up comedy set that looks back at his past and his search for connection, and it's one of the stops on his latest tour.
Christie is a young comedian and internet personality with more than a million followers across social media, but he's been on stage since he was six, starting out on Comedy Club 4 Kids nights. By nineteen, he'd become one of the youngest winners of the So You Think You're Funny competition, and he also placed as a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Award before making his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2022. His Fringe shows include OK Zoomer (2022), which has more than 600,000 YouTube views, and I Deserve This (2024), which sold out its entire run and earned a Malcolm Hardee Award nomination.
Away from the stage, he's had a fair few different lives. He voiced Yojojo in the CBeebies series Waybuloo, is fluent in French, studied French and Mandarin at university, and has performed stand-up in Lyon. He's also opened for Micky Flanagan and starred opposite Stephen Fry in BBC2's The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff.
