Drag superstar Baga Chipz brings her stand-up and music show 'Bagz to Riches', with duets from Tanya Hyde, to the Maddermarket Theatre.
Baga Chipz brings her show Bagz to Riches to The Maddermarket Theatre on Sunday 18 October. She's a RuPaul's Drag Race icon and an international drag superstar, nearly twenty years into showbusiness and billed as the nation's most loveable tart. This one is conceived as a love letter to the public that's supported her: a night of outrageous stand-up comedy, untold stories, anecdotes and memories, alongside the music that shaped her, from disco and power ballads to big band show tunes.
She's not on her own, either. Following last year's tour Chip Off the Old Block, she brings back her partner in crime, comedian and vocal powerhouse Tanya Hyde, for duets that run from ABBA to Bananarama and Wicked to Chicago, celebrating the history of their twenty-year friendship. The show is described as camp, crass and blue, not for the fainthearted, with tributes to friends past and present.
