Free monthly Baby and Toddler Café at John Lewis Norwich where parents and carers can meet, share experiences and have a hot drink, with toddlers welcome.
John Lewis Norwich is hosting its Baby and Toddler Café on Thursday 22 October, from 10:30 to 11:30. It's a monthly get-together for parents and carers of babies and toddlers, and it's free to attend.
The whole thing is built around the adults. The café is described as an inclusive community space where the parent, the mother, or the carer is the guest of honour. For an hour, you can sit and chat with other parents and carers, talk about the babies, and swap stories from this new stage of life. A member of the John Lewis Nursery team is there to welcome everyone and keep the conversation going, so it's not just a room of strangers staring at their phones.
If you've got older children in tow, they're welcome too. Preschool siblings can play with sensory toys or use a colouring station, which means you don't have to leave them at home to get your hour in. The session is part of the regular monthly Baby and Toddler Café meetings at John Lewis Norwich, so if you find it works for you, there's another one coming around soon.

On the practical side, every adult gets a free hot drink, and preschool siblings get a glass of juice. The meeting point is Platter by John Lewis on the second floor of the store in the Business District. It runs from 10:30 to 11:30 on Thursday 22 October, and it's free.
