A Tale of Us

Tiny and Tall Productions bring A Tale of Us to Norwich Theatre Stage Two on Saturday 31 October, with two performances that day, one at 11:00 am and another at 2:00 pm. It's a brand-new play made for parents and their babies, and the story follows Ivy, who has just had a baby and is working her way through the wonder, the joys and the challenges of that first year of parenthood.

They describe it as an intimate, funny and frank celebration of the wild first year of parenthood, and it blends drama with multi-sensory playtime in a relaxed, beautifully designed environment. It's aimed at parents with children aged 0-18 months, so it's built around the reality of bringing a baby along rather than asking you to leave the chaos at the door. Stage Two provides buggy storage and a quiet space for anyone who needs it, which is a handy thing to know before you set off.

Every performance ends with a guided Stay and Play session, so parents can chat with one another while the babies explore. It's as much about the adults as the little ones, and the production is supported by Arts Council England.

Tickets start from £23.32, and one ticket includes one baby and one adult, with an additional adult costing £7.42. There are two shows on the day, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, at Norwich Theatre Stage Two on Saturday 31 October.
