Award-winning family comedy show with dinosaurs, robots and car chases, suitable for children aged 3 and over.
Mr Sleepybum brings Mr Sleepybum's Dream Machine to The Garage on Wednesday 28 October, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. It's a family show, so it's a mid-week afternoon slot rather than an evening one, and it's aimed at children aged three and over and their grown-ups.
The story is a simple one: Mr Sleepybum is sad because he can't dream, so he builds a machine that magically brings dreams to life. From there, things get properly silly. The machine conjures up dinosaurs, robots, car chases and the world's largest blanket, and the whole thing is built around sketches, slapstick and plenty of audience participation, so the kids won't just be watching from their seats. It's the kind of show where the audience gets pulled into the action rather than just sitting back.
It's not a new arrival, either. It won Best Kids Show at the UK Kids Comedy Festival 2025, and The List reviewed it as a show that leaves kids 'in stitches'. If you've got little ones who respond to physical comedy and a bit of chaos, that's a good enough steer for what to expect.
