Concert by the Scottish alt-rock band Teenage Fanclub at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Teenage Fanclub play Boiler Shop on Tuesday 10 November, starting at 7:00 pm. It's a single-band bill, so they're the only act on the night.
Formed in Scotland in the late 1980s, they've spent over three decades as alt-rock luminaries. Their sound is built on timeless lyricism, sparkling guitars and hooky choruses, and they've earned a long-standing reputation as a cult band. Songs like 'Sparky's Dream' and 'Star Sign' were among the hits that helped build their following over the years.
