Winter makers market with over 60 northern makers, artists, creative businesses and food vendors at The Boiler Shop.
Made Up North returns to The Boiler Shop on Sunday 6 December, the winter edition of a market that runs across spring, summer and winter in the heart of Newcastle city centre. It brings together northern makers, artists, creative businesses and food vendors under one roof, with drinks from the venue's in-house bar.
There will be over 60 northern makers, artists, creative businesses and food vendors on the day, so it's a good spot if you're looking for Christmas gifts from people actually making the things. The venue is just behind Newcastle Central Station, and it's built for accessibility: there are no steps inside, a lift up to the mezzanine and accessible toilets. It's also dog-friendly, so you can bring your dog along while you browse. Ten per cent of ticket-sale profit goes to the edition's nominated charity, and the first 20 people through the door get a free gift.
