One Night of Billy Joel

One Night of Billy Joel comes to Sage One on Thursday 26 November, a tribute to one of the most well-known and best-selling artists in music. It's a brand-new touring theatre show, billed as a celebration of Billy Joel's work, and it forms part of the venue's 'Nights Out' series.

Robert Schmuck fronts the band as Billy The Kid, and he's backed by a six-piece band. They play straight musical arrangements of Joel's hits, and the setlist runs through a long list of them: 'My Life', 'Uptown Girl', 'River Of Dreams', 'Tell Her About It', 'Still Rock n Roll To Me', 'An Innocent Man', 'Movin' Out', 'Just The Way You Are', 'We Didn't Start The Fire', 'Piano Man' and 'The Longest Time'. It's a non-stop run of the songs most people know him by, rather than a deep dive into the B-sides.

Sage One is all seated, so you'll have a chair for the whole thing. Stage times are announced closer to the show, and under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £32.90, and the show starts at 7:30pm.
