Deep Purple play Utilita Arena on Wednesday 18 November, part of their UK tour. They're the headliners, with Mammoth and Jayler on as special guests.
Deep Purple have spent more than five decades defining the sound of rock and remain one of the world's most revered live acts. The current Mark VIII line-up is Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey. They draw on a catalogue that includes In Rock (1970), Machine Head (1972) and Made In Japan (1973), with 'Smoke On The Water' having ascended to mega-status. Their 1970 classic 'Child in Time' was reworked to soundtrack the trailer for the latest season of Stranger Things, introducing the song to millions of new listeners. Their critically acclaimed 2024 album =1 shows the band continuing to push the boundaries of hard rock.
Opening for them are Mammoth, formed and fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen, and Jayler. Both will play before Deep Purple take the stage.
