Celtic-folk punk band Ferocious Dog performs their final UK show on their farewell tour, supported by Shanghai Treason and Headsticks.
Ferocious Dog play Boiler Shop on Saturday 7 November, part of their UK farewell tour. It's a six-piece Celtic-folk punk and rock group that's been going since 2011, and this autumn is the last chance to see them live. They're joined by guests Shanghai Treason and Headsticks, so there's more than one band on the bill.
Their sound is built on a collision of Celtic-folk and punk rock, with fiddle and banjo leading songs about unity and resistance. That protest spirit has been there from the start, and they've spent their career as one of the UK's raucous live acts. The music has drawn comparisons to The Levellers, New Model Army, Billy Bragg and Dropkick Murphys, so you've got a fair idea of the territory they cover.
