Comedy duo Your Aunt Fanny return with 'Crease', an hour-long sketch show with no interval, billed as their sharpest, smartest and most hilarious material to date and viewed through their trademark unapologetically feminine lens.
Your Aunt Fanny are back at Live Theatre with Crease, their new hour-long sketch show. It runs from Thursday 29 October through to Saturday 31 October in the Main Auditorium, so you've got a few nights to choose from if you're around Newcastle that weekend. There's no interval, so it's a straight run of sketches from start to finish.
The show is built around a series of sketches that the duo describes as their sharpest, smartest and most hilarious material to date, all viewed through their trademark unapologetically feminine lens. The one that's getting the most talk is a true crime-themed hen party, and that's just one of the setups they're working with. From there, the sketches jump all over the place: there's a man's club for those ready to be allies, a disillusioned but enthusiastic scout leader, and a filthy step-neighbour in a porno bank heist directed by seven women who have never actually watched porn. It's a wide-ranging set, and since it's a sketch show, you'll be moving from one scenario to the next rather than following a single story.

Your Aunt Fanny are a comedy duo, and Crease is their latest hour of new material. If you've seen them before, this is a fresh run of sketches rather than a repeat of old stuff. It's a short run—just three nights—so it's one of those things you'll want to pin down in advance if you're planning to go. Tickets are £20 for concessions, £18 for youth, and £10 for the cheapest seats, with the show running from Thursday 29 October to Saturday 31 October at Live Theatre.
