A live tribute to Zach Bryan featuring acoustic guitars and vocals on Newcastle Harbour, aboard the MV Calmer.
American Heartbreak bring their Zach Bryan tribute to the MV Calmer on Saturday 29 August, a four-hour cruise around Newcastle Harbour. It's a live celebration of the songs, stories and spirit of country music superstar Zach Bryan, built for fans who carry his music close.
The band works through Bryan's songbook with acoustic guitars and soaring vocals, leaning into the raw honesty, weathered sound and emotional storytelling that have made him one of modern country's most powerful voices. You'll hear 'Something in the Orange', 'I Remember Everything', 'Heading South', 'Burn, Burn, Burn' and 'Revival' among the set.
The setting is the MV Calmer, a three-level entertainment vessel with indoor and outdoor spaces, wrap-around balconies and panoramic views across Newcastle Harbour. It turns the afternoon into more than a tribute show: four hours of country music, harbour views and singalong moments on the water. The cruise is a licensed 18+ event with two bars and an onboard kitchen serving food and snacks. There's limited unreserved seating and a cocktail-style, concert-viewing experience, so it's more about standing and moving around than sitting still. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except in rare circumstances like extreme weather or public health emergencies.
