Free, friendly digital help sessions for over-50s with everyday digital tasks, held weekly at Newcastle City Library.
Tea and Tech is running at the Newcastle City Library on Thursdays from 3 to 24 September, a series of free digital help sessions for over-50s. It's not a formal class with a syllabus; it's a drop-in where you can bring whatever everyday digital tasks have been tripping you up and get a hand sorting them out.
That's the thing about these sessions — they're built around the stuff you actually do. If you're struggling with a particular app, can't figure out how to organize your photos, or just want to know a quicker way to do something on your tablet or phone, that's exactly what they're for. It's about the small, practical things that make a difference in how you use your devices, rather than a lecture on how the internet works.
Because it's a series that runs every Thursday across the month, you don't have to get everything sorted in one go. If you've got a list of things you've been meaning to tackle, you can come in, tick one or two off, and then head back the following week with the next few. It's a low-pressure way to work through the bits that usually feel like a chore.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Newcastle and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
