Sip, Sing & Sail takes over Newcastle Harbour on Saturday 5 September, with the whole night running from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It's a karaoke cruise aboard the MV Calmer, which the organisers call Newcastle Harbour's premier super-yacht. The boat has three levels with indoor and outdoor spaces and an open-air sky deck, and the night splits the entertainment across two of them: a karaoke lounge with thousands of songs across every genre, and party DJs spinning the biggest hits. The Sky Deck is there for harbour views under the stars, so you can step out for a breather between songs.
There are prizes on the line for Best Solo Performance, Best Duet, Crowd Favourite, Best Dressed and Biggest Performer of the Night, which gives you a few different ways to get involved if you're not just there to sing. The whole thing is run by All Event Cruises, a company that does on-water experiences ranging from private weddings, birthdays and corporate functions to ticketed themed party cruises, live entertainment nights and dining experiences with chef-prepared food and fully licensed bars.

It's an 18+ event, so you'll need an authorised photo ID to get on board. There's no BYO food or drinks. Check-in starts from 6:30 pm at the Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal, Wharf Road, Newcastle, NSW 2300, and the cruise runs from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
