Newcastle Beer Fest returns for its 11th year with live local music, food and drinks at King Edward Park.
Newcastle Beer Fest returns to King Edward Park on Saturday 20 February 2027, marking its eleventh year. It's the same spot as last time — the organisers decided to stick with the park after the success of the previous edition, so if you were there last year, you'll know exactly where to head.
They've got a few reasons for keeping it there. The park offers more space, more shade, and what they describe as a 'picnic' vibe — the kind of afternoon where you can settle in and take your time with the beer, the sunshine, and the sounds of local artists. It's a day built around the three of them: beer, sun, and local music, all in one place.

As for the practical side, the venue is King Edward Park on Reserve Road in Newcastle (NSW 2300). Parking is available in the adjacent side streets, and public transport serves the site, so you've got a couple of ways to get there. It's a Saturday in late February, so it's a good one to keep on the radar for a summer afternoon out.
