Music Trivia at Son Of A Gun Diner

Music Trivia is back at Son Of A Gun Diner on Tuesday 11 August, from 7pm to 9pm. It's a weekly thing, so if you miss this one, there's another the following Tuesday.

The night is more than just a quiz. It runs through a full evening of games, prizes, music trivia, sing-a-longs and dancing, drawing on the last seventy years of music. The topics change every week, so it doesn't matter if you're a fan of the old stuff or the new — there's something to get into each time. It's a good one to bring a group along for, since the sing-a-longs and dancing mean you're not just sitting there with a pen and paper.

Son Of A Gun Diner is in Hamilton, at 66 Beaumont Street, Newcastle NSW 2303. They describe themselves as the area's go-to for North American flavours, great coffee, live music and good vibes, and they're open from 5:30am to midnight. If you're after more than just the trivia, the diner also runs an open mic every Monday and live music every Sunday, so there's plenty to work with throughout the week.

It's free to play, though bookings are recommended, even if they aren't required. The trivia runs from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday nights.
