Glitz & Spritz at the Pier

Glitz & Spritz at the Pier takes over Pier Ninety Seven on Tuesday 3 November, right on Melbourne Cup Day. It's a charity afternoon that runs from 12:00 pm, and it's the Hunter Region's only registered animal-free Melbourne Cup event. If you're looking for a way to mark the day without the racing, this is it.

Your ticket gets you a welcome spritz to start, a gourmet grazing table with roaming canapés — vegan options are sorted — and a live DJ to keep things moving. There's a fashion show, which they've billed as 'fashions at the pier', a charity raffle, and views across Newcastle Harbour. It's a long afternoon, so you've got plenty of time to settle in.

If you're planning on doing more than a few drinks, there are unlimited packages to add on for three, four or five hours. There's also an upgrade to The Spritz Society, which gives you unlimited EARP Spritzes for the session. It's worth deciding which one suits you before you head in.
