Kylie On The Harbour | Pride Cruise

Kylie on the Harbour is a Pride cruise on Newcastle Harbour, running on Saturday 17 October from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with check-in starting at 6:30 pm. It's a floating party dedicated to Kylie Minogue, and the whole night is built around her music. The cruise goes aboard the MV Calmer, which takes you out onto the harbour for about three hours, with a sky deck, licensed bars and food available on board.

The party deck is where the live stuff happens. Three drag entertainers — Minnie Cooper, Charisma Belle and Carmen Geddit — perform Kylie-inspired sets, with DJs spinning her hits across the different eras of her career. The plan is to work through her biggest songs, from the early days through to the more recent stuff, so you'll hear the old favourites alongside the newer tracks. Between the live performances, the DJs keep the music going.

It's an 18+ event, so you'll need a valid photo ID to get on board. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, and there's no BYO food or drink — the bars and food on the boat are what you'll be using. There's also a heels policy in place: no tall or pointy heels allowed, which is worth keeping in mind when you're picking your outfit for a boat. The cruise departs from the Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal on Wharf Road in Newcastle.
