Fleetwood Nicks | Ultimate Tribute Show

Fleetwood Nicks are taking to the water on Saturday 1 August, with their tribute show running from 12:00 to 4:00 pm aboard the MV Calmer on Newcastle Harbour. They bill themselves as 'The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Tribute Show', and the set is built around the songs that made the two names famous: 'Rhiannon', 'Dreams', 'Go Your Own Way' and 'The Chain'.

It's a cruise, so the music happens while you're moving. The MV Calmer gives you 360° views of the harbour, and the band plays three live sets across the afternoon, with two licensed bars and onboard snacks to fill the gaps between. The first date sold out, and a second show has been added for Sunday 2 August, so if you're after the Saturday one, it's worth getting in early.

There are a few things to keep in mind before you head down. The cruise is for over-18s only, and you'll need a photo ID to board. The dress code is smart casual, with a specific note on footwear: small chunky heels are fine, but tall or pointy heels aren't allowed. Check-in opens from 11:30 am at the Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal on Wharf Road, Newcastle, and the cruise runs from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Tickets are between A$35 and A$59.
