Magic show by Cosentino, an immersive theatre experience combining grand stage illusions, close-up wonders and heart-stopping escapes.
Cosentino is bringing his new show, TRICKED - An Evening of Wonder, to the Civic Theatre on Friday 31 July, starting at 7:30 pm. He's billed as Australia's greatest illusionist and was named International Magician of the Year, so if you've never seen him work in person, this is a good place to start.
TRICKED is his latest production, and he describes it as an immersive theatre experience where the line between reality and fantasy gets blurred. The set pulls from a few different styles of magic: there are the grand stage illusions that play to the back of the room, close-up wonders that work better from the front, and heart-stopping escapes that lean into the tension. It's a broad mix, so you'll see the big spectacle alongside the smaller, more intimate tricks.
He pitches the show as perfect for all ages and for anyone who likes a bit of a thrill, which makes it an easy one to bring the family along to. It's a single evening of magic rather than a long run, so it's a one-off night at the Civic.
