A themed boat party on the MV Calmer featuring 80s and 90s music, dancing, and retro outfits on Newcastle Harbour.
Born To Dance is taking over the MV Calmer on Saturday 29 August, a throwback boat party running from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The night is built around the 80s and 90s, with DJs working through the decades and guests encouraged to turn up in retro outfits. It's a three-hour cruise around Newcastle Harbour and beyond, and the MV Calmer is a three-level superyacht with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, including an open-air sky deck.
All Event Cruises runs ticketed nights on the vessel, from themed party cruises and live entertainment to dining experiences and harbour celebrations, alongside private functions like weddings, birthdays and corporate events. This one is a party night, with fully licensed bars and chef-prepared food on board. There's no BYO, and seating is limited and unreserved, so it's primarily a standing and dancing event. Check-in is by 6:30pm at the undercover gazebo area on the wharf, and entry is strictly 18+ with valid photo ID.
