A Claytime Workshop

A Claytime Workshop is running at Grounded By Designs in Carrington, and it's a weekly thing that's been going since 17 January, so you've got plenty of dates to choose from. The next one is Saturday 19 September, and the whole series keeps running through to 28 November.

It's a small, guided session where you work with clay at your own pace, with Myf there the whole time to help out. You don't need any prior experience to join in—just a bit of curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little messy. The session itself is a guided hand-building experience in the studio, and the fee covers all the clay you'll need and the use of shared tools. There's also herbal tea and a selection of treats to keep you going while you work.

One of the best parts is that you don't just leave with a raw piece of clay. The workshop includes the glazing and firing of one piece, so you'll eventually take home a finished, fired work. If you're not sure which Saturday works for you, the weekly format means you can pick a date that fits your schedule rather than having to clear a whole weekend.

Grounded By Designs is at 16 Gipps Street in Carrington, and the venue is accessible, with a cafe, car park, parents room, public toilet and a shop all on site. A session costs A$120.00.
