Free Halloween day of fun at the Northrup King Building, with treats and art or tricks from participating studios across four floors.
Trick "Art" Treat takes over the Northrup King Building on Saturday, October 31, from 12 PM to 6 PM, with many studios staying open until 8 PM. It's a Halloween celebration that turns the building into a scavenger hunt: you roam four floors looking for participating studios, following a black cat emblem to find your way. At each stop, you'll find treats, art, or tricks—the name tells you exactly what to expect.
If you're in the mood for something a bit more focused, the third-floor gallery is hosting a Halloween-themed art show by local artists. The work runs from the spooky to the whimsical, with pieces ranging from goblins to witches' pots, so you can spend some time there before heading back out to the studios.
For those who aren't familiar, the Northrup King Building is a hub for the city's creative community. This is one of several events it hosts throughout the year: the fall open studio Art Attack! 2026 opens up four floors of work and the artists behind it, and the annual indoor winter market Holiday Lane brings in the holiday crowd. Trick "Art" Treat is the Halloween version of that same open-door spirit.
