Monthly improv show in which three teams of Twin Cities improvisers, each with the month's zodiac sign, perform on the Bryant Lake stage.
Improv Zodiac! is back at Bryant Lake Bowl and Theater on Wednesday, October 28, from 7 PM to 8 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. It's a monthly improv show that follows the zodiac seasons: every month, three curated teams of Twin Cities improvisers who share astrological placements in that month's featured sign come together to perform on their special night. If you've been following along, you know the lineup changes as the seasons shift, so this is a different set of performers than the ones who took the stage last month.
The show happens at Bryant Lake Bowl and Theater, at 810 W Lake St in Minneapolis. It's a small, cozy room with about 85 seats and a 9' x 22' stage that's hosted everything from the quirky holiday favorite A Very Die Hard Christmas to musical acts like Dan Wilson, The Civil Wars, Jeremy Messersmith, and Soccer Mommy. It works as a community hub where theater and live music blend, and since the venue has a full restaurant and bar, you can pair the show with food and drinks. There's convenient parking behind the building.
