Monthly political comedy show that blends improv, storytelling and stand-up, curated by BIPOC comedians, at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater.
Good Camel Live returns to the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater on Wednesday, November 4, as part of its monthly run. It's a political comedy show that happens every first Wednesday of the month, so if you miss this one, there's another coming shortly after.
The night blends three different styles: improv, storytelling, and stand-up. A core ensemble builds material on the spot, drawing from current events, while a rotating guest storyteller or comedian takes over for two longer sets and closes the evening. The stories are personal, and the comedy stays rooted in politics and lived experience. The show is BIPOC-curated but open to everyone.
It's held at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater (810 Lake St W, Minneapolis), a cozy spot that seats around 85 people. All seats are general admission on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can get food and drinks from the venue's restaurant and bar while you're there.
