Stand-up show by Dustin Nickerson, comedian of the Amazon Prime special 'Overwhelmed', at The Parkway Theater.
Dustin Nickerson plays The Parkway Theater on Saturday, February 20, 2027. He's a Seattle native now living in Southern California, and he describes himself as "the world's most average person"—a persona he spends the set dismantling by drawing on the struggles of parenting, marriage, and being annoyed by most people.
That particular angle has taken him pretty far. In 2020 he released his debut special, Overwhelmed, which became one of the highest-rated specials on Amazon Prime Video. Since then he's appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central, Netflix's Hart of the City, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Fox, and Hulu, and he's a regular on After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson.
He also writes. His podcast, Don't Make Me Come Back There, has over 2 million downloads, and his book, How to be Married to Melissa, published by HarperCollins in June 2022, was an Amazon #1 New Release. At 40, he's been married for 20 years and has three kids, and a good deal of that life ends up on stage.
