Stand-up show by investigative comedian Adam Conover, creator of 'Adam Ruins Everything', at The Parkway Theater.
Adam Conover is back at The Parkway Theater on Saturday, March 20, 2027. If you know him, you know him as the face of Adam Ruins Everything, the educational comedy that spent years taking common misconceptions and pulling them apart. The New York Times called it one of history's most entertaining shows dedicated to the art of debunking and described Conover as a "genial provocateur," which pretty much sums up the whole thing: he takes a topic you think you understand and shows you why you're wrong, but does it with a grin.
That debunking streak has carried over into his more recent work. In 2022, he premiered The G Word on Netflix, produced with Barack Obama's Higher Ground Productions. It uses comedy and documentary-style storytelling to pull back the curtain on how the federal government actually works, so it's the same investigative impulse as Adam Ruins Everything, just pointed at the machinery of Washington instead of general misconceptions. Between the two, he's built a career out of explaining the things most of us just take for granted.
In his hilariously raw and unexpectedly vulnerable new special Big Divorce Energy, Adam Conover talks sex and self-discovery, dating after divorce and why straight men are the most repressed people in America. Check it out free on YouTube!

And he's done more than just host his own shows. He hosted the Nickelodeon game show The Crystal Maze and has recurring roles on the animated series BoJack Horseman and Tuca and Bertie. He's originally from Wading River, New York, and his YouTube videos have racked up millions of views, so while Adam Ruins Everything is what most people associate him with, there's a fair bit more to the resume.
Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $30 for general admission in advance, which comes to $38.07 with taxes and fees, or $35 at the door, $40 with taxes and fees. The show is age 18+.
