Out-of-hours yoga session for all skill levels beneath the blue whale skeleton Hope, with post-class access to galleries closed to the public.
Yoga at the Natural History Museum runs on various dates, with the class from 08:00 to 09:15 and doors opening at 07:30. It's held in Hintze Hall, the museum's main entrance hall, so you'll be practising beneath Hope, the blue whale skeleton that hangs from the ceiling. The session is run in collaboration with East of Eden and is built around the museum's connection with the natural world.
It's open to all experience levels, with a gentle flow and variations offered to suit everyone, so you don't need to be a regular at the studio to join in. The class closes with a fifteen-minute Savasana and a live gong bath. Once it's over, you get exclusive access to galleries that are closed to the general public, and the Central Café opens at 09:15 serving hot drinks and snacks.
